That's right, we'll be bringing the DMC to San Antonio again in 2010. This is the 25th Anniversary year of the American DMC, so we plan to do it huge!

How Do I Register for DMC South?
DJs MUST REGISTER TO COMPETE!
Please, write ONLY to USA at(@)dmcworld.com with the following:
DJ Name
First Name & Last Name
Complete Address, Apt or House
City
State
Zip
Phone
Email
Website or myspace
Which battle you are entering
Your Crew affiliation if you have one
This is a DMC regional battle. DJs will battle showcase style and not head to head. Each DJ will perform a 2 minute set. If a DJ is selected for the top 6 DMC Southwest Finalists, he or she must perform a 6 minute DJ routine. Each DJ must bring his/her own headphones, slipmats, needles, etc. DJs can use any needles they like this year but will not be permitted to use their own mixers or turntables. More info to follow once you've registered. The champion of this battle will move through to the DMC USA DJ Finals to be held in New York City in late July or early August (exact date to be confirmed). The DMC DJ Battles are the longest running, most prestigious DJ Battles in the world. In DMC battles, legends are made. Being a DMC World or National champion continues to be one of the most sought-after titles for turntablists worldwide!
DMC Champs, from all levels, have gone on to do major work - for instance:
Roc Raida: Busta Rhymes
A-Trak: Kanye West
Mix Master Mike: The Beastie Boys
DJ Enferno: Madonna
DJ Dummy: Common
DJ Abilities: Eyedea
DJ Babu: Dilated Peoples
